Greg Falls
I met Greg Falls 13 years ago while working for a fly shop on the Missouri
River. He first visited Montana in 1986 to hunt pheasants and fish the Missouri.
After several vacations from Georgia, he moved to Wolf Creek in 1996 and
to live year around on the Missouri River.
For 5 years he managed Montana River Outfitters in Wolf Creek and then
for a change of pace he went to work for Clacka Craft Drift Boats for
a year and a half; ultimately moving to Bozeman, MT to guide trout fisherman.
During the winter months his woodworking skills are put to test for Rusty
Vorus building high end cabinets, tables and chairs. Greg also travels
to Thailand on buying trips with his girlfriend, Elli Bashara, to purchase
handmade crafts from the local artisans for her downtown Bozeman business,
The Odyssey. He even manages to fish for and catch snakehead on the fly
while in Thailand.
Greg is one of the finest guides anywhere in Montana, but his knowledge
of the Missouri River is unsurpassed. Quality conversation, the patience
of Mother Mary, and great angling are trademarks of his guide trips.
