To maximize your
fishing experience, we don’t exceed two anglers per guide. However,
for groups of more than two, we’ll schedule additional guides at the
rates below.

Missouri River Rates: 1 or 2 anglers: $450
Winter Rates:
1 or 2 anglers - $300 Winter Trips are half days and start mid-morning,
once things have begun to warm up in the Madison Valley. Half days are
4 hours on the water and do not include a lunch or drinks. Special Winter
Rates run from Dec. 1st to March 1st.
While we can usually accommodate last minute bookings, it is much better
to make your arrangements well in advance. This allows for adequate planning
by both parties and insures you get first choice of dates for your fly
fishing vacation. From mid June through the middle of August, we are booked
solid and have been for weeks, sometime months.
Big Sky Anglers requires a $150 deposit for each day of guided fishing.
Once a check or money order of $150 is received, we'll send you an email
acknowledging your deposit and confirming your trip dates. Prior to your
trip we will contact you to figure out additional details such as lunch
preference and meeting times.
Your deposit is fully refundable up to 7 days prior to your trip. After
7 days, we will refund your deposit if we can rebook your dates.
Gratuities:
Guides typically receive gratuities for their hard work, and depend on
them as part of their income. They help offset the costs of gas, shuttles,
flies and terminal tackle. Our guides typically receive between $60 and
$120 per day, and earn it. The decision is ultimately yours, however,
and you should tip what you feel is appropriate. No guide should expect
a tip, but they certainly appreciate it after a job well done.
